Hi there. We would love to introduce ourselves to you. Our names are Frank, Lorraine and Gracie. We have been sitting here for quite awhile trying to figure out how to start one of the most important things we could ever be writing. How to have our profile stand out to you when there are so many other wonderful couples out there? How to truly express our respect and admiration for the most unselfish, loving decision that one person can make. How to get you to understand who we are as people, what our morals and values are and what a loving and supportive home your child would have if placed with us. Well…..we believe God has a plan for everyone out there and we are hoping that you are part of our plan to expand our family.
We met in 1997. Lorraine’s older brother, Rick, introduced us. Frank was very surprised because being an older brother himself, he didn’t think that older brothers normally played “match maker” to their younger sisters. In the words of Lorraine’s brother “you are my only friend I trust and consider to be a gentleman”. We dated about a year and a half before we got married on a beautiful fall day. We started our family on March 16th, 2011 by adopting our beautiful daughter, Gracie Kathryn. She has brought so much love into our lives that we didn't even know we were capable of feeling. She is our world, our love and helped to make our house a home. . We want to expand that love and our family. We want to double that love and fill all of our hearts and lives with another child to become our son or daughter, sister or brother. Frank and I both grew up with siblings and would not change that for the world. We want to be able to provide Gracie with that same love and honor of having a sibling and be able to have that undescribable love open up our hearts even more.
We live in a small town on Long Island, NY (about 1 hour from NYC). We have a few dogs and live in a five bedroom home with a fenced in back yard that Gracie loves to play in.
